Keeping WordPress, themes and plugins updated, compatible and working correctly will remain your responsibility.
Should you wish to update your own website content, you will be provided with login access to make changes whenever needed.
Ongoing website maintenance, general upkeep and the responsibility for keeping your website current, functional and running smoothly will need to be managed by you without a Care Plan.
You will be responsible for identifying and resolving plugin conflicts, broken functionality and other website-related technical issues.
Support is available during regular business hours, with any website work required charged at our standard hourly rate.
Ongoing SEO, optimization and the creation or improvement of website content are not included unless requested separately and will be charged at our standard hourly rate.

How are my Care Plan hours used each month?
Your time is allocated according to your website’s needs and priorities. Typically, some time will be used for routine WordPress maintenance, updates, security and compatibility checks, with additional time available for ongoing SEO, content updates, troubleshooting and other website requirements.
How much time is normally needed for WordPress maintenance?
For a typical small-business website, routine WordPress maintenance generally takes around 30 – 45 minutes per month. This can include WordPress, theme and plugin updates, compatibility and functionality checks, backups, security checks and general website health monitoring. The time required may vary depending on the website and any issues discovered during maintenance.
Is ongoing SEO included in my Care Plan?
Yes. Your Care Plan hours can be used for ongoing SEO work, such as optimizing existing pages, improving website content, internal linking, metadata, local SEO and creating SEO-focused content. The amount of time used for SEO can be adjusted each month depending on your priorities.
What happens to the rest of my monthly hours?
Any time not required for routine maintenance or planned SEO remains available for other website work during that month. This could include content changes, adding images, updating pages, adding events, managing online store products, troubleshooting problems, technical support or making improvements to your website. This gives you the flexibility to use your Care Plan where it provides the most value.
Do unused Care Plan hours roll over?
No. Your Care Plan provides a set number of support hours each month, and any unused hours do not carry over to the following month. This allows us to reserve dedicated time for your website each month and maintain consistent availability for all Care Plan clients.
